Day 5

Okay today was really bad. I started out going jogging and having a strawberry banana smoothie for breakfast but then I ate left over dessert and food from yesterday :( I'm writing in here now because I have to work from 5-11:45 so I won't be wanting to write in here after that. Tomorrow I'm going to be good and definitely need to jog and then I need to rethink my game plan because I weighed myself this morning and it said that I gained back all the weight I lost yesterday so I need to figure this out. I don't like the way the food made me feel. I feel really heavy and gross so I want to continue to do the raw diet but I think that on Saturdays and Sunday's I can eat whatever I want within moderation. I also need to limit my online time and raise my time doing physical activities. I'm limiting myself to 2 hours online a day. 1 hour for school work and 1 hour for personal time and THATS IT! Well thats all I have for now I'll add more tomorrow and I shall weigh in :)

Day 4.5

Today is 4.5 because it was an absolute disaster. I feel so sick from eating so much. The day started out really well. I went running and then ate fruit for dinner but after that it was a mess. Thank goodness it was only one day and there won't be any more days like that until christmas. I'm enjoy the diet especially after today was so miserable. Well thats all I've got for today.

Day 4

Ugh okay I am going to be completely honest. I didn't COMPLETELY follow the raw diet today. I ate a roast beef sandwich which isn't really unhealthy its just not on the diet. After only eating fruits and veggies for 3 days it was a bit hard on my stomach but thats okay so now Thanksgiving dinner won't be so hard on my stomach tomorrow and after that I will start my diet again Friday. Besides the sandwich though everything else was raw. I even didn't eat the pumpkin pie or cake that they had at my work today. So I give myself kudos. Hopefully the sandwich didn't effect my weight too much. I took today off from my jogging since I knew I was definitely going to want to do it tomorrow. I made a pumpkin cheesecake for tomorrow but I think I will try to avoid eating more than a bite's worth. Well thats all I have for today not too much going on. Will add more tomorrow :)

Day 3

Okay so I think I did pretty well today. My family had pizza for dinner and I didn't eat any!!! I ate strawberries and soup instead :) The soup was kind of weird and I think it would work better as a dip or light salsa. Too bad chips aren't on the diet. My family doesn't think I can stick it out for the 20 days, though I am taking a slight break on thanksgiving but only for the 1 meals, the rest of the day is strictly fruits and veggies.
I didn't jog today because it is super windy but I cheated and walked home from school and counted that as my walk. It was about 2 miles and I was walking against the wind almost the entire time. I also did my after dinner crunches which I am currently at 30. I want to get to the point where I can do 1k without stopping. I've started looking forward to writing in this blog at night. I'm super excited for Saturday when I can share my results for the week. I'm glad for this excitement because it will make it easier for me to stick with the diet and keep moving towards my goals.
I feel happier on days that I get exercise and I feel over all more happy all the time. I find myself smiling more which is crazy because I started the diet 3 days ago and I started jogging just less than 3 weeks ago. Though today it was hard going to Costco and not eating any of the samples. A girl at my work told me that if I wanted to lose the weight I better do it now because it only gets harder as you get older. Well thats all I have for today and I shall continue with my blog that no one else reads tomorrow :)

Day 2

Okay so I woke up this morning with a lot of energy and had a lot of energy at work but once
I got home and it was time for my jog i felt so tired. The jog was really hard but that could be partially because its very windy today. I weighed myself today even though its not Saturday, I need to work on not doing that because it fluctuates so much. It did go down but I'm not going to update my progress except on Saturday's. I bought a cantaloupe today. I love it, its so good and juicy. I definitely had more energy over all.
So when I went grocery shopping I bought safflower oil instead of extra virgin olive oil because I hate the taste and apparently safflower oil had a study done on it and it lowered womens belly fat by over 6% so I think this may become a regular purchase except I bought it on sale and its kind of expensive regularly. I really want to make some salsa but i don't have anything i can use with it on this diet. I'm also very thirsty but supposedly you're not supposed to drink anything for 2 hours after you eat orelse it messes up the digestive enzymes.
Well I have a test in the morning so I will keep this short :)

Day 1

Okay so today is officially day 1. I didn't exercise today since its Sunday. This diet will either be a lot easier than i think or a lot harder. Today I made a salad dressing that is SO GOOD!!! I just mixed safflower oil with tomatoes, strawberries, parsley, sea salt, and lemon juice. My 16 year old sister tried it and she thought it was just as good as I thought it was. I'm really wishing I would have bought more strawberries because I seriously love them. I'm excited for my salad for dinner tonight so i can try my home made dressing on that. One of my all time favorite salad toppings is blueberries. I'm not sure how many people have tried this but it is incredible!! I much prefer it over tomatoes which it kind of tastes like a sweetened version of. Tonight I am going to freeze some bananas in the freezer and use them tomorrow morning to make a delicious smoothie. :) Smoothies are amazing. The only problem with tomorrow is I work from 9 am - 1:30 pm so I have to go jogging in the afternoon which I am not particularly excited about. It will actually be an afternoon jog all week until Friday.
I am really excited to get a start on this diet and hope to see results though I'm not expecting anything drastic for quite some time. Well thats all for today. Will add more tomorrow :)

Okay!


Alright people this is it! The beginning of my journey to a healthier lifestyle. My starting weight is an absolutely embarrassing 238. My goal is 130. I'd also like to do a marathon. I'm currently jogging 3 and a half miles five times a week and hope to increase that soon. I'll also post a picture every week to see if any differences occur. Big words for someone who hates their body as much as I do. I really need to stick with this though!!
This is me and one of my best friends at her wedding last month, as you can see I have a lot of work ahead of me.
